On 7-8 of November, 2017 in the heart of South Africa, in the city of Johannesburg, a large-scale event dedicated to gambling had place. This year, Eventus International, the organizer of the event, decided to merge two of its well-known events on the African continent, the Betting & iGaming Africa Summit and the Casino Marketing & Hospitality Forum, and to host one of the biggest events of the year in Africa – BiG Africa Supershow 2017.
More than 30 representatives from various spheres of the gambling business, as well as representatives of regulatory councils and gambling associations spoke at the conference.
Since BiG Africa Supershow was created through the merger of two events, the thematic streams of the conference were divided into two parts.
In the first stream of the conference, the bets for computer sports, money laundering and hacker attacks on gaming sites were discussed. We discussed the features of opening and running a gambling business in Africa, as well as gambling legislation. We also didn`t ignore the issue of using crypto currency in gambling.
The second stream of the conference was devoted to the topics of marketing, advertising and development.
A demonstration platform for participating companies was also organized within the framework of the conference. More than 10 companies of software providers for gambling and bookmaking business presented their products and services on BiG Africa Supershow.
In honor of the fifth conference Betting & iGaming Africa Summit, the BiG Africa Awards ceremony was held, among the nominations prizes for the title of the best speaker of the conference, the best stand at the conference and others were awarded.
